- She received the Drama Logue Award in Los Angeles for her stage show "An Evening With The Fine Line". She has had several opinion pieces published in newspapers and magazines, including articles for UPI, The Arizona Republic and American Enterprise Magazine. Her mother Mary Gurrie Rhoads was a newspaper reporter and columnist back in Chicago. Her brother Mark Rhoads is a former Illinois State Senator. She was a member of Chicago's famous improv comedy troupe, The Second City National Touring Company. Raised in Western Springs, Illinois, when she was a sophomore at Lyons Township High school she appeared in a variety revue called "The Corral Show" with senior, David Hasselhoff. She has written for National Review Online.
She was awarded the Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actress in a Revue for "The Fine Line" in Chicago, Illinois. She currently has an acting school in Falls Church, Virginia just outside Washington DC.
